Job Description:
As a senior engineer, you will be working with an engineering team developing and enhancing the next generation TeleNav Map Image System, providing high-quality map imagery for TeleNav products. Development of this TeleNav Map Image System will test the greatest of your abilities in GIS, algorithms, data structures, Performance/Scalability, working with massive data sets, dynamic data, Open Sources and supporting massive parallelism to support large concurrent user request volumes.

* Development of TeleNav LBS Search engine scalable to hundreds of millions of users on mobile device, website and other domains.
* Rapid prototyping of LBS search applications in cooperation with 3rd party partner/vendor.

Basic Minimum Qualifications
* Background in search engines, internet crawling, relevancy/ranking, machine learning, information extraction from unstructured data, and Web data mining
* Experience with open source search engines like Solr or Lucene etc.
* Extensive working knowledge of Java
* Strong fundamentals in computer science and excellent problem solving skill
* Experience with architecture for multi-threaded, large scale real time system.
