We are looking for top-notch speech R&D engineer to join our voice team to build the cutting edge speech platform for the wireless devices. There are plenty of opportunities for creative algorithm work and high performance software development. We need people with strong motivation to advance the voice technology to improve the usability on mobile devices.

We are looking for top-notch speech R&D engineer to join our voice team to build the cutting edge speech platform for the wireless devices. There are plenty of opportunities for creative algorithm work and high performance software development. We need people with strong motivation to advance the voice technology to improve the usability on mobile devices.


Responsibilities:
Formulate new algorithms, create research tools, design and carry out experiments to verify new algorithms
Build and tune the language and acoustic models
Work with other team members to optimize the end to end performance of the applications and accuracy of the speech recognition
Work with development engineers to implement new features to meet the business requirements
Prototype the server side and client side applications

Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Master degree in computer science or electrical engineering
Good diagnostic and problem solving skills
Proficiency with C/C++ and/or Java
Strong hands-on coding
In-depth knowledge and experience in the one or multiple areas of the following: speech signal processing, language modeling, and natural language understanding technologies
Good knowledge on software engineering principles
Quick in learning new stuff and adaptive
