Brief Description We're looking for a senior architect to join map team to architect efficient framework to acquire, develop and improve spatial data. This candidate will lead the design and implementation of various processes to acquire data from multiple vendors, a platform for integration and validation of multiple data sources to bring them under one cohesive representation. We need people with strong multi-tasking capabilities and interpersonal communication skills and leadership.

Sr. Software Engineer/Architect - Map Data: We're looking for a senior architect to join map team to architect efficient framework to acquire, develop and improve spatial data. This candidate will lead the design and implementation of various processes to acquire data from multiple vendors, a platform for integration and validation of multiple data sources to bring them under one cohesive representation. Plenty of opportunities for creative algorithm work and high performance system software development. We need people with strong multi-tasking capabilities and interpersonal communication skills and leadership. Responsibilities: - Architect complex map data generation and integration framework - Lead role in directing company's map data generation roadmap - Plenty of coding Requirements: - BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Geography or related field - Hands-on industry experience in developing and enriching map data - Fluent in spatial data structures and algorithms - Strong relational database skills - At least 5 years of working experience with Java or C++ - Experienced in handling technical and project management challenges - Thoroughly experienced with Object Oriented Programming and design patterns - Excellent coding and quality control skills - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Nice to have: - Availability to travel to TeleNav offices in China
