Description We are looking for top-notch speech R&D engineer to join our voice team to build the cutting edge speech platform for the wireless devices. There are plenty of opportunities for creative algorithm work and high performance software development. We need people with strong motivation to advance the voice technology to improve the usability on mobile devices. Job Description: Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership in research projects as well as contribute individually Formulate new algorithms, create research tools, design and carry out experiments to verify new algorithms Build and tune language and acoustic models Work with other team members to optimize the end to end performance of the applications and accuracy of the speech recognition Work with development engineers to implement new features to meet the business requirements Prototype the server side and client side applications Qualifications: Ph.D. or Master degree in computer science or electrical engineering Good diagnostic and problem solving skills Proficiency with C/C++ and/or Java In-depth knowledge and experience in the speech recognition and natural language understanding technologies Strong hands-on coding Good knowledge on software engineering principles Quick in learning new stuff and adaptive
